Mercury slows down and does an about-turn, spending a whopping 6 weeks in 6 degrees, three in each of Taurus and Gemini. These are palpable contrasts between slow and quick, blunt and sharp, dull, and light. You have already experienced the plod of Taurus back in April. Mercury in Gemini is quick, but when retrograde you are pedaling fast and getting nowhere. Communication becomes counterproductive. By the time Mercury is back in Taurus, you can properly slow down and untangle the many threads before progress can be made. The advantage in the entire process is how you get to review everything carefully and practically now for a solid foundation. You get clarity and back up to speed in mid-June.

Forthright and feisty, the pioneer energy drives everything forwards. Mars in Aries is traditionally quite selfish, but; he will be hedged in by Neptune and Jupiter; there is a feeling of generosity and warmth, a desire to elevate one’s goals and feed the soul’s greater purpose. You could conquer the world with compassion.
Venus in Taurus 28th
One of my favourite placements; Venus is in her rulership in this earth sign. Sensuality, the tangible, practical, dependable, and steadfast. This is all she wants. The goddess of love and pleasure, loving and pleasing in her lovely and pleasant surroundings. Aphrodite eating peeled grapes in a garden. She does this as she pushes out from a square from Saturn, who loses her for a second time this way after she slipped into Pisces two months ago.
Mars Jupiter conjunct 29th
Action without limit. It is easy to be enthusiastic and the well of energy to act never runs dry. This is a placement for high adventure, high ideals, dynamic enterprises, and the pioneering spirit. It is also great for fighting for what you believe in, for the sake of others, acting with courage, and winning at contests. There is a sense of true sportsmanship, whether in sporting activities or debate. You may have an appetite for challenges, the great outdoors, and hearty new experiences that broaden your world.
